Font Spacing Incorrect

Looks like this popped up recently. If you look at any signature using the Arial font (haven't checked other fonts) you'll notice that the spacing is off and certain characters are too spaced while others are squished and not quite spaced enough. This is particularly a problem with s, 5, and A among others. Just thought I'd drop by to point out this issue.

Wiki locking

I've noticed something with the Wiki: there's plenty of spam, and always from unregistered users. It appears there are a few competing spambots that are attacking the API page. My basic solution consists of making the wiki uneditable by non-registered users and that certain pages (front page, API, etc) are locked via MediaWiki. Simple, elegant.

all disks/process/vga temp, load/uptime/mem on one line, vidcard, netsat plugins

I mainly just made them for my own use but in case anyone else wants to use them they can. I made them in a hurry and I am not a scripting guru but they should work.

An example with most (except no GPU temp since its non-nvidia) is my server (more than my regular comp) since I had no need for the network plugin on my regular comp:

Load/Uptime/Memory on one line sciprt. Basically I made this simply to show these 3 things on one line so I can fit more on my page (not sure if this can just be done via the conf file):

loadutimemem.sh:

CODE

 #!/bin/sh

 desccheckfull=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-desc' | wc -l`
 desccheckshort=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-shortdesc' | wc -l`

 if [ $desccheckfull -gt 0 ]
 then
 echo "Load/Uptime/Mem Plugin"
 exit
 fi

 if [ $desccheckshort -gt 0 ]
 then
 echo "loaduptimemem"
 exit
 fi

 memtotalb=`free | grep -i mem | awk '{print $2}'`
 memusedb=`free | grep -i '+' | awk '{print $3}'`
 memtotal=`echo $memtotalb / 1000 | bc`
 memusedtotal=`echo $memusedb / 1000 | bc`

 load=`cat /proc/loadavg | awk '{print $1", "$2", "$3}'`

 utime=`cat /proc/uptime | awk '{print $1}'`
 udays=`echo $utime / 86400 | bc`

 totaluhours=`echo $utime / 3600 | bc`
 devidehours=`echo $totaluhours / 24 | bc`
 multihours=`echo $devidehours \* 24 | bc`
 hours=`echo $totaluhours - $multihours | bc`

 totaluminutes=`echo $utime / 60 | bc`
 devideminutes=`echo $totaluminutes / 60 | bc`
 multiminutes=`echo $devideminutes \* 60 | bc`
 minutes=`echo $totaluminutes - $multiminutes | bc`

 totaluseconds=`echo $utime | cut -d'.' -f1`
 devideseconds=`echo $totaluseconds / 60 | bc`
 multiseconds=`echo $devideseconds \* 60 | bc`
 seconds=`echo $totaluseconds - $multiseconds | bc`

 mem1=`echo 100 $memtotal $memusedtotal | awk '{print $1 / $2 * $3}'`
 mem2=`echo $mem1 10 | gawk '{ decimal=($1)/($2)}; END { printf ("%.0f", decimal )}'`
 mem3=$mem2
 otherbars=`echo 10 - $mem3 | bc`
 x=0
 bar1=`echo -n`

 until [ $x = $mem3 ]
 do
 x=`echo $x + 1 | bc`

 bar1=$bar1`echo -n "|"`

 done

 y=0

 blanks=`echo -n`

 until [ $y = $otherbars ]
 do
 y=`echo $y + 1 | bc`
 blanks=$blanks`echo -n '-'`
 done

 echo Load: $load "|" Uptime: $udays"d" $hours"h" $minutes"m" $seconds"s |" Memory:$memusedtotal"/"$memtotal"M" "["$bar1""$blanks"]"

Output looks like:
Load: 0.08, 0.10, 0.09 | Uptime: 1d 3h 48m 55s | Memory:3350/8185M [||||------]

Disk space from all disks plus you GPU's temp (nvidia only). If you want totals but not HD companies scale just change the size at the top from 1 million to 1048576 and change the -b in the df command from 1000 to 1024. If you want it to show network mounts as well just change the df -l to just df.

Example output:
Disk Space: 5310/10999 GB (48%) | Processes: 226 | GPU Temp: 150.8°F

Gets your vid card:

vidcard.sh:

CODE

#!/bin/sh
desccheckfull=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-desc' | wc -l`
desccheckshort=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-shortdesc' | wc -l`

if [ $desccheckfull -gt 0 ]
then
echo "Vidcard Plugin"
exit
fi

if [ $desccheckshort -gt 0 ]
then
echo "vidcard"
exit
fi

vidcard=`lspci | grep -i vga | cut -d':' -f3`
echo "Video Card:"$vidcard

Example output:
Video Card: nVidia Corporation G80 [GeForce 8800 GTX] (rev a2)

And one I doubt many people would ever be interested in is showing the average in/out speed (in the last 5 seconds) as well as totally downloaded/uploaded using iptables. This method is nice for capturing more than 4GB on 32-bit systems or if you use multiple interfaces and you want to catch everything but it requires you have iptables on your system:

netstat.sh:

CODE

input=5

desccheckfull=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-desc' | wc -l`
desccheckshort=`echo $1 | grep '\-\-shortdesc' | wc -l`

if [ $desccheckfull -gt 0 ]
then
echo "Network Stats Plugin"
exit
fi

if [ $desccheckshort -gt 0 ]
then
echo "netstat"
exit
fi

lasto=`iptables -x -v -n -L OUTPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`
lasti=`iptables -x -v -n -L INPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`
sleep $input
curi=`iptables -x -v -n -L INPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`
curo=`iptables -x -v -n -L OUTPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`

totali=`iptables -x -v -n -L INPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`
totalo=`iptables -x -v -n -L OUTPUT | head -1 | awk '{print $7}'`

totalgi=`echo $totali | awk '{print $1 / 1024 / 1024 / 1024}'`
totalgo=`echo $totalo | awk '{print $1 / 1024 / 1024 / 1024}'`

diffi=`echo $curi - $lasti | bc`
diffo=`echo $curo -$lasto | bc`

averagei=`echo $diffi / $input | bc`
averageo=`echo $diffo / $input | bc`

ki=`echo $averagei / 1000 | bc`
ko=`echo $averageo / 1000 | bc`

echo Net In: $ki "Kb/sec Out: "$ko" Kb/sec" "|" "Total In: "$totalgi" Gb Out:" $totalgo" Gb"

Example output:
Net In: 14 Kb/sec Out: 637 Kb/sec | Total In: 3.54991 Gb Out: 100.751 Gb

I also have a script that gets CPU/mobo temps and fan RPMs but fan/temp names very from computer to computer so its not easy to make a general script for that.

Some Suggestions

1) Wider images: Stuff like Twitter updates can be quite long and L33TSig's 400px width can sometimes be a little small. Any chance of allowing bigger ones, such as, say, 500, or 600, or so?
2) Taller images with more lines: 10 lines maybe (vs the current 7)?

And if that's not possible, how about allowing the ability to run two sigs off one copy of L33TSig? eg, have two PC IDs within the client, and a second Signature tab for the second PC ID. That way, you could fit in plenty of info about the PC - especially if, say, you have 5 HDDs on the one PC, so you can't fit everything in.

I guess this is a connection error. What can I do to resolve the problem?
